Favorite 10 Dividing Israel
Synopsis of May 07, 2011….. Dividing the Land of Israel
Joel 3:1-2 – “For behold, in those days and at that time, When I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.”
One of the major prophecies to specifically watch for is the division of the land. This land is all the land from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, which includes the modern nations of Saudi Arabia, Omen, Yemen, Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, UAE, and several other nations within the Middle East Region (Genesis 15:18-21).
Palestinian diplomats, politicians, and others are threatening to unilaterally declare that Palestine will become the 193rd member state in the United Nations this September within the pre-1967 borders. Efforts to force Israel into accepting a two nation solution will not only be unsuccessful, they will directly incur Yahweh’s wrath. Psalm 83:12-17 asks Yahweh to make those who want to divide the land like tumbleweed and windblown chaff, to chase them like a storm and frighten them with wind, to make them afraid, shamed, disgraced, and to be destroyed.
Zechariah 12:2-3 – “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all the people when they lay siege against both Judah and Jerusalem; all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces.”
Yahweh answers the Psalm 83 prayer and promises that any nation that comes against Israel will be cut to pieces!
Palestinian statehood, and the division of the Land of Israel, is just one of the steps in the continuing narrative of prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes. At some point in the near future, many nations will unite and try to utterly destroy Israel and the Jews. Yahweh has allowed Satan and others numerous attempts to do so in history, none of which have been ultimately successful – the Jews still live, and always will, because Yahweh has promised that they will never be totally destroyed: “For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you; though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a complete end of you” (Jeremiah 30:11), and only if all of the laws governing the universe can be nullified will Israel cease to exist (Jeremiah 31:35-37).
