The Rapture Wrap-Up

September 29, 2016

Over the last couple of years, beginning in 2012, the pre-tribulation Rapture parallels, patterns, pictures, and types have been documented. And all point to a very noisy, loud, full on, joyous, heart warming, momentous, glorious occasions, not some quiet, private celebration between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Today we take a quick look at the major topics in our wrap-up of the Rapture:

Parties And Other Celebrations
Our documentation began with a look at a celebration like no other in which we discovered that Yahweh loves a parade and loves to show off. Heaven celebrates every single time a sinner repents (Luke 15:10). Heaven celebrated with a triumphal parade when Yeshua won the victory over sin, hell, the devil, and death (Colossians 2:15 and Ephesians 4:8).

We then looked at the wedding patterns, first at Mount Sinai, and then at a Jewish Wedding Ceremony. The Ten Commandments, given at Mount Sinai, are not just a list of do’s and don’ts, a set of rules to live by, but are also a written testimony to the sacrament of marriage and are a joy and a gift of love from a husband to his wife, and from a wife to her husband. That the Hebrews were called to be Yahweh’s bride is attested to in many scriptures. We then looked at the Jewish Wedding Ceremony and found out that it is indeed a dress rehearsal for The Rapture. Yeshua came down from Heaven, gave his life as a ransom for his bride and offered her eternal life. He returned to heaven to prepare a place for his bride and will return to take her home.

Our Findings: We found that all three of these celebrations are very noisy, loud, full on, joyous, heart warming, momentous, glorious occasions, not some quiet, private celebration between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Definitions
We also looked at definitions of the Hebrew words. The term, caught-up, is the Greek word harpazō (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Harpazō, [ἁρπάζω G726] means to be seized or plucked up by force, to catch (away, or up), pluck, pull, or to take by force. This term then became the words rapiemur, rapturo, or raptus in the Latin, which becomes the word Rapture in English. Greek to Latin to English! Using this word, Rapture, does not make one an illiterate individual, nor does using the word make a person out to be a heretic or a blasphemer.

The term, departure, or falling away, is the Greek word apostasia (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Apostasia [•πoστασα G646] is a compound of two words which both mean a motion away from a place or person a state of separation, that is of distance – either physical: of distance of place, or temporal: of distance of time, never an apostasy, falling way, or rebellion from an ideology.

Our Findings: We found that the apostasia in a physical moving away, and that there are many examples of resurrections and raptures throughout scripture. Many even appear to have “advance notice” of the times and seasons in which they will occur. The individual who has placed their trust in Yeshua Ha’Mashiach is raised to eternal life. When The Rapture (or harpazō) occurs, it may be that some of you will be simply caught up and some will have to be yanked out of here! Which person will you be? It is my prayer that you will accept Yeshua as your Lord and savior, and be one who goes willingly when He calls out: “Come up here.”

The Rapture Before The Tribulation
Scripture reveals a loud return of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach during the final sounding of the last trumpet and the instantaneous transformation of believers into immortality prior to their ascension into the clouds and then into heaven itself. The “gone in an instant” image makes for great reading, for simply good fiction, but is not supported by scripture.

In numerous scriptures a period of seven years of tribulation, trial, and judgment is described. It is during this period that the antichrist is revealed and the saints are overcome, as described by the Minor Prophets, Daniel, and Revelation. It is also during this period that scripture tells us that large numbers of people will accept Yeshua as their Messiah. These tribulation period saints, however, are not the saints that currently make up the Church / Bride of Christ. Paul informs tells us that this seven year period will not come unless the departure (frequently translated the apostasy) comes first (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4), the temple is rebuilt, and the antichrist is revealed.

Our Findings: We found that the Rapture patterns clearly show that it will be a visible event, that it will take time from beginning to end, and that it will be clearly able to be watched as it transpires, and that it follows a distinct sequence of events. The sequence is:
• Yeshua descends in a cloud with a shout, the voice of an angel, and the sound of a trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4)
• The dead are raised and instantly given their immortal bodies (1 Corinthians 15)
• The living rise to meet them in the clouds and instantly given their immortal bodies (1 Corinthians 15)
• The people are gathered together with Yeshua while those left behind watch intently (1 Thessalonians 4)
• The two witnesses eventually appear to give witness to Yeshua and the Rapture. (Revelation 11)

We further found that Yahweh is not a god of disorder and chaos, but a god of order and organization. He establishes a pattern and the rapture, or if you prefer, the removal, is always the first in the series of events that is displayed by the patterns. Yahweh is consistent, timely, orderly, unchanging, and the scriptures display a consistent pattern of rapture before tribulation – a pre-tribulation rapture. Noah, Elijah, the Bride of Yeshua are all raptured first. A time of continued warning ensues, then the disaster strikes. The pattern is: removal, revelation, ruination. The pattern is: departure, depiction, destruction. We even found that the pre-tribulation pattern is evident in the series of the Moedim. That pattern is: death, burial, resurrection, giving of the spirit, rapture, judgment, millennial reign.

The Rapture Horses, People and Patterns
Enoch was the first to be raptured in the body, and that event set the pattern for all future bodily raptures in scripture Enoch was raptured in a whirlwind in the accompaniment of chariots and horses of fire. Elijah was the second to be raptured in a whirlwind in the accompaniment of chariots and horses of fire. Yeshua was raptured by a white horse. Enoch, Elijah, and Yeshua were witnessed as they were raptured. Numerous people have also been raptured in the spirit. Most come as a surprise and only the person involved is affected – either there are no witnesses or those present have no idea what is happening.

Our Findings: All bodily raptures thus far involve advance notice, horses, and witnesses. Several involve whirlwinds, but not all. This pattern tells us that without doubt the Bride of Yeshua will be raptured by white horses as well. It is safe to declare that when there is no presence of horses, chariots of fire, whirlwinds, or witnesses who see a bodily rapture then it is only a rapture In the Spirit.

The Overcomer and The Crown
The person who overcomes is a person who has prevailed, risen above, triumphed over, or defeated the catastrophes, disasters, heartbreaks, misfortunes, and tragedies of this world. This person has taken Yeshua into his heart – they are faithful and will never deny their faith in Yeshua. This person is charitable, is longingly waiting for Yeshua to appear, prayerful, engaged in service to others. This person is anything but lukewarm, and has washed his robes in the righteousness of Yeshua. The person who overcomes is a person who Yeshua has declared noteworthy, a person who he will call his own possession, or as the King James puts it: “a peculiar person” and will be rewarded eternal life in the times to come.

Our Findings: The overcomer is a chosen, peculiar person who Yahweh calls his own possession. The overcomer has triumphed over the world through the blood of Yeshua. The overcomer is faithful and will never deny their faith in Yeshua. The overcomer is zealous for good works, not slothful. The overcomer receives many rewards including eternal life in the times to come. The Crown of Righteousness is only available for those who are longingly awaiting Yeshua’s return.

The Concealment and The Church
This separation of righteous and unrighteous is clearly stated in the book of Matthew. Numerous examples are noted in scripture of righteous people being delivered from calamity or destruction while the unrighteous or evil are punished (Genesis 6; Genesis 18:25-19:29; Joshua 6:22-23; Hebrews 11:31); whereas the unrighteous are kept under punishment for the day of judgment (2 Peter 2:9). Likewise, the image of being hidden behind closed doors or in a secret place for the righteous during Yahweh’s wrath is a reality clearly stated in scripture (Psalm 27:5; Psalm 45; Isaiah 26:20; Matthew 25:1-13). The bride is gone and cannot be found (Song of Songs 6:12-14). Even the Jewish Wedding Ceremony agrees: the bride is concealed behind closed doors for seven days!

Our Findings: We found that scripture is very clear that the Bride of Yeshua will be taken away before the wrath of Yahweh is poured out and will be hidden in the secret places – the door will be shut and no one else can enter. She will be looked for, but cannot be found. These images are a perfect representation of a concealment after the Rapture, which will take place before the Tribulation period.

The Rapture Party
Many assume and teach that the Rapture will be a very quiet, secret event. We have found that just the opposite is true. Scripture is filled with parties: weddings, parades, and angels having a hootenanny when a sinner repents. Celebrations are held for: the feasts, for being chosen, for dedications, for reading of Torah, for giving thanksgiving and praise, for victory in Yeshua, for the captives having been brought to a better, more wonderful captivity, fathers holding parties, and a lot of feasting, thanking and praising.

Yahweh’s parties, the moedim, are the best parties in town. Nobody does them better! Enough meat to feed an army – lamb, beef – roasted, boiled, barbequed, as it were. Loaf upon loaf of breads, some baked with leaven, some without. And the wine – gallons and gallons of wine – the best wine in the world. Yahweh brings the best of the best to his parties, never second rate. The Rapture will be the best party of all, and it hardly sounds like quiet, unnoticed event.

Conclusions
Titus 2:13 – “We look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great Lord and Savior, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, will be revealed.”
The Rapture is real. It is indeed, our blessed hope. The patterns depict a pre-tribulation rapture without any shadow of doubt. The door has been opened and the Bride of Christ has been taken to Heaven, the crowns have been given, the Bride is clothed in white (Revelation 4), and the songs are being sung (Revelation 5). The redeemed whom Yeshua has purchased are present and accounted for. The Bride will be given its Sabbath rest as a result of Yeshua’s shed blood, and sings new songs to confirm this fact while enjoying being in Heaven (Revelation 15:3).

Final Thought
Prophecy continues to unfold as foretold by the Hebrew Prophets. The day is coming when Yahweh will show his strength on the mountains of Israel. What is prophesied will come to pass, what is foretold will be made known. Time is short – Yeshua Ha’Mashiach is coming soon – get busy reaching the lost.
